Our Half-Day Camp Themes
Children learn about the uses of robots in our world, how they sense and move, and spend time programming robots and participating in robot relays. They discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. They build their very own working robot to take home with them!
Join us for a week of fun with robots and learn all about the science of robotics. Discover the science behind gears and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. Learn about artificial intelligence and how it is revolutionizing our world. Put all this knowledge to use when you build your very own robotic arm.
The Wright Stuff
From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, hands-on program will give children a bird's eye view of the history and science of flight. Your child will build many different flying devices and explore the science of aerodynamics and flight with the help of Newton's laws. Then we're heading out of the atmosphere with a look at rockets and our galactic neighborhood!
NASA Journey into Outer Space
Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they participate in a rocket launch!
Secret Agent Lab
This program features fun-filled, hands-on, secret agent-themed science activities that allow kids to play detective, explore forensic science, sharpen their surveillance skills, and crack encrypted messages. Kids become super sleuths!
Clue, Crimes and Culprits
Oh NO! The Mad Science monkey is missing! Will you help us figure out where he is? We gather the evidence from the crime scene and analyze it. We will use chemistry, forensic science, physics, and biology to solve the crime. Blood typing, DNA extraction, and pH testing are only a few of the scientific tests for our young sleuths. Take home a lab coat, magnifying glass and case notebook. (ages 5-7)
Using LEGO® bricks, kids build a different engineering-themed project in each class. They explore different engineering fields, including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bioengineering. They use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.
